Rising Star: Postgraduate Academic Meeting Concludes Successfully

The fifth installment of the “Rising Star: Postgraduate Academic Meeting” was smoothly carried out in the Golden Light Life Sciences Building. This event was organized by the postgraduates’ union of the School of Life Sciences. Doctoral student Zihong Kang from the class of 2020, along with graduated doctoral students Jianfeng Fu and Chenkun Jiang, were invited as guest speakers.
The speakers presented their research progress and academic experiences to the audience through engaging reports. They also opened up about the anecdotes behind their scientific research and their career aspirations for the future.
Following the sharing of their research topics and scientific insights, the Life Sciences postgraduates’ union bestowed upon them the “Academic Rising Star” trophies. This honor not only recognizes their past accomplishments but also serves as an incentive for their future pursuits. During the subsequent coffee break, numerous students engaged in exchanges of ideas with the guests. The fifth “Postgraduate Academic Rising Star Meeting” finally came to an end, accompanied by the aroma of refreshments and the sound of profound and enthusiastic discussions.
