BAYER

In 2014, Peking University and Bayer signed a comprehensive collaboration agreement on a strategic partnership to promote translational research for drug discovery. Under this agreement, the two partners established a joint research center at Peking University under the name of Bayer HealthCare/Peking University Center of Translational Research for Drug Discovery (BPC/TRDD). In addition, Bayer provides funding support on joint research projects as well as grants for Bayer Endowed Chairs, Bayer Investigators and Bayer Postdocs (since 2016) in recognition of scientific excellence and outstanding contributions to life sciences, with a focus on drug discovery and innovation in the key therapeutic areas of Bayer.
