The School of Life Sciences at Peking University has a rich history dating back to 1925. Over the years, the School has grown into one of China's leading biology institutions, known for its excellence in research and education. Our faculty members are actively engaged in research across a wide range of areas, including animal science and ecology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, biophysics, cell biology, developmental biology, genetics and genomics, molecular biology, neurobiology, and plant biology. Research at the School is supported by well-staffed and School-sponsored/subsidized core facilities, such as AI, cell biology, chemical screening, cryo-EM, genomics, metabolomics, imaging, and proteomics facilities. The School of Life Sciences at Peking University is actively seeking talents in all areas of biology from all over the world, with a current emphasis on bioinformatics/computational biology/artificial intelligence and RNA biology.
To be eligible for consideration, candidates must possess a doctoral degree and demonstrate a strong research record in their respective field. We seek individuals who are passionate about pushing the boundaries of scientific discovery and are committed to excellence in both research and teaching. Chinese language skills are not required.
