In December 2016, Peking University, in collaboration with the Qidong Municipal Government of Jiangsu Province, established the East China Institute of Biotechnology, Peking University (ECIB). The Institute is dedicated to advancing the biopharmaceutical industry, with a focus on improving human health, promoting industry development, and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
