Visit to Temple Village and the Great Wall in Huairou District

A group of undergraduates and graduates from the School of Life Sciences embarked on a journey. They arrived at the memorial base of Temple Village in Huairou District. Prior to exploring the exhibition hall filled with historical relics, they watched a commemorative film presenting the revolutionary past of Temple Village. The century-old newspapers on display were a particular highlight, kindling fervent discussions among the students. Next, they advanced to the Huanghuacheng Water Great Wall. The precipitous landscape and the steep slope of the Great Wall presented a formidable obstacle. After a brief warm-up, they savored the local delicacies at the entrance and continued their exploration. In the afternoon, all 27 students assembled and made their way back to the university.
