Autumn Sports Meeting and Freshman Cup

The recently concluded Autumn Sports Meeting and Freshman Cup witnessed a remarkable success of the School of Life Sciences. Taking place in the glorious month of October, the sports extravaganza comprised a diverse range of track and field competitions along with other engaging team games, vividly exhibiting the athletic prowess and competitive zeal of our students and school teams.
Our athletes shone brightly, achieving remarkable feats in the 4x400m relay and the women’s 800m race. The final of the mixed team physical fitness competition secured an honorable third place, underlining the significance of teamwork. In the Freshman Cup, the volleyball matches were fiercely contested. The women’s team triumphed in all their encounters, while the men’s team overcame numerous hurdles to claim victory. The football and table tennis arenas also witnessed enthusiastic participation. Although our football team had a mixed bag of wins and losses, and our table tennis and badminton players did not progress further, they all gave their best, creating indelible memories and a strong sense of camaraderie.
These events truly showed the healthy and vibrant competitive atmosphere within our school. We are looking forward to more wonderful performances by the students of the School of Life Sciences in the spring track and field sports meetings next year.
